Since I live in Sweden the only more thing I can say is 'get those tyres'. They worked excellent on my Peugeot 407 2,2 even in conditions as minus 18 degrees Celsius and icy roads in March in northern Sweden.

Good DD tire, very good traction in snow and acceptable packed snow/ice traction. Somewhat squishy sidewalls mean cornering isn't super-responsive, but they'll therefore hold up to bumps and road debris. For the price and winter peace-of-mind, these are excellent!

Daily Driver/Commuter Aggressive Driver 1999 BMW M3
I got this set (225/45/17) for my road trip across the country in winter time. The price was very tempting so I looked for reviews. Didn't see any for Jinyu tires in US, but quite several in north Europe. They claim to be good in packed snow... so, I decided to give it a try. Performed quite well in snow and ice. Car/Truck Enthusiast Aggressive Driver 2004 SUBARU WRX STI
Perfect tires for winter. Great in snow & extremely quiet and comfortable. Beefy amounts of tread and they look incredible in person. On my 390whp Subaru and handle very well in any road conditions. Not unpredictable at 80°F temps. I would recommend a different set of tires designed for summer. Great in snow & never got stuck.
