Description
High Traction Tread Design The intricate tread pattern balances inter traction and a smooth, quiet ride. The deep lateral and notched circumferential grooves provide excellent evacuation of water and slush from the tread contact patch.
Patented “Snow Groove” Design Technology Provides biting edges for excellent snow and ice traction without reducing element stiffness. The snow groove enhances the retention of snow in the outer circumferential grooves to capitalize on the higher traction characteristics of “snow on snow” versus “snow on rubber”.
Also available with metal studs for the ultimate in ice traction. For the studded version of this tire click here.
Limited, Prorated Lifetime Warranty - If the tire exhibits a defect in materials or workmanship, it will be replaced free of charge during the first 2/32 of an inch of treadwear. After 2/32" of treadwear the tire will be replaced at a discount based on the amount of tread remaining. Tire vibration and out-of-round claims are covered during the first 1/32" of treadwear. Warranties do not cover costs related to shipping or installation. Note: This is just a summery of the manufacturer's warranty, complete warranty terms are available upon request.

I'm a Rural Mail Carrier in the mountains of WV, driving over 100 miles a day. These tires have NEVER let me down during our winters. I put these tires in the ditch to get to some of my mail boxes and they bring me out every time. I use studded tires on the front (Subaru AWD) and again - they have never let me down. I also run them in the spring/summer/fall simply because I sometimes have to drive on mud or in grass to get deliveries made. Might ... read more...
My daughter had these on a 1994 Volvo 940 for the winter of biggest snow storm on record in Massachusetts in 2015. They were a good choice. After digging the car out of the parking spot, she never got stuck doing her job which involved delivering children to school. We gave the car away that same summer.
Equal traction to blizzak in winter conditions great on snow and ice dry and wet. Just a bit noisy however the traction in all conditions make up for it. The glacier grip II are on a yaris sedan driven on country roads in hilly terrain
Being in the Midwest, i switch out my tires for snow tires every year. I used these tires for NINE YEARS before they were too worn to use anymore, according to my mechanic. I can't believe they lasted that long! This fall I will be purchasing another set. These are really, really good tires for the money. The only negative thing I can say is that they are not the quietest, especially as they wear. But the price is right!
These are my second set of Mastercraft Glacier Grip II - I absolutely love them for our climate. You never know what your gonna wake up to around the Great Lakes! These tires can handle it all!
This is my third set of these tires. First set 80,000 miles, second set 65,000 and this set still looks great. I run them year round and the Subaru is about to turn 200,000 almost all on these tires. Awesome on snow. I live in northwestern PA and we get a lot of it. They are great tires!
BEST ice rain snow tire available! You can truly pass the snow plow truck if needed! Soft, so mileage is not high, but the best for traction available!!
Great tires for the winter. My car is lowered 2.5 inches and I still ripped through the snow like it was not there. I'm not driving next winter without them.
outstanding soft compound winter tire and wear WAY beyond expectation.I might as well say I was rock climbing considering the abuse I give these tire in quarries and gravel pits.these tires gave my old taurus the feel of 4 wheel drive!!!
I live at 8000 ft in colorado. Winter driving conditions can be "impossible". I buy glacier grip Snow tires because they are the best in snow and on ice that I have experienced in 40 years of mountain driving.
Bought these tires for winter on my 87 BMW 325is. Didn't have a lot of snow this year but they still did well when we did have it. I didn't have them balanced when installed but they still had minimal vibration above 80mph. Still lots of tread left. I'd buy them again.
